Advisory Working Group Meeting held in Seoul to Advance Typhoon Committee Priorities

The Advisory Working Group (AWG) of the ESCAP/WMO Typhoon Committee held its meeting in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on 28 May 2025. Hosted alongside the 20th Meeting of the Working Group on Disaster Risk Reduction (WGDRR), the AWG meeting provided a valuable platform for discussing strategic directions, reviewing progress on the Committee’s initiatives, and preparing for the upcoming 20th Integrated Workshop and 58th Annual Session. The meeting was marked by productive dialogue and a strong spirit of collaboration among Members.
